Thanks for taking the time to apply to vendor at Townsville Folk Festival. Application opens 8th January closes 1 March 2024

The Townsville Folk Festival is run by the Townsville Folk and Acoustic Music Club Inc., which is a group of local, hard-working, fun-loving volunteers. We endeavour to provide a broad range of stalls and opportunities for festival goers. Every attempt is made to provide a fair and equitable opportunity for all applicants. If you're selling something unique, it is handcrafted, and you provide an opportunity for festival goers to interact with your craft,  we want you at our festival.

All profits raised go to supporting the club and next year’s festival, so thank you in advance for your contribution and support of the festival.

The Folk Club hopes that everyone will embrace the principles upon which the festival is run which include a family focus, environmental consciousness, a fun and harmonious festival. (This means no war toys, minimizing wrapping and eco-friendly). Townsville Folk Festival has affiliated ourselves with Townsville Plastic Free to become zero waste.

This year's festival runs from Thursday night of the 6th until 9th June. Stallholders can enter the site from 2pm Tuesday 4th June, no earlier. All stalls will need to be onsite by Thursday & with no vehicle movement by 2 pm. No later. You will need to be set up by Thursday evening when the festival precinct opens to the public.

The festival will run until 6 pm Sunday 9th. Stallholders will be required to bump out Monday morning, no early stall holder leaving the festival site before then unless discussed with our Stall coordinator.

Stall prices as per following:

Retail and wellbeing stalls (non-food stalls)

3m stall no power $290 Including one adult ticket

3m stall no power $430  Including two adult tickets

3m stall with 1x10 amp power $310  Including one adult ticket

3m stall with 1x 10 amp power $450  Including two adult tickets

6m stall with 1x10 amp power $380  including one adult ticket

6m with 1x10 amp power $490 Including two adult tickets

Larger by negotiation

Food Stalls

3m with 10-amp power $460 Including 2 Adult tickets

3m with 1x15 amp power $500 Including 2 Adult Tickets

6m with 1x15 amp power $580 including 2 Adult tickets

6m with 1x15 amp power $690 Including 3 Adult tickets

Larger by negotiation

Additional Power outlets $30 +gst each

Tickets will be included in the full costing of stalls. We will send an invoice once your stall fee has been confirmed with full costing of your stall, electricity & staff. When the invoice has been paid in full, we will issue your tickets via Trybooking. All staff & family must have a ticket including children & toddlers.

Stall holders receive a massive discount off festival tickets. The Price of ticket is included into your stall cost & if you need any additional ticketing, please submit staff numbers & family on your application.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THESE ARE CLAIMED BEFORE THE FESTIVAL BEGINS AS WE HAVE LIMITED TICKETING. Please make sure on arrival you have your ticket ready, no ticket no entry. This will make the process of getting through the gate smoother.  

Please ensure you only claim the number of tickets you require AS PER YOUR VENDOR CONTRACT. We will be cross referencing and any extra claimed tickets will be billed back to you.

Youth ticket age 13 to 17   full price $135 for 4 days with staff only discount $68.00

Child ticket 5 to 12 full price $ 60 for 4 days discount $30.00.

Adult  ticket full price is $220 for 4 days discount $110.00

Babies & Toddler 0-4 FREE, but please let us know so we can issue them a ticket.

We understand some of you have children working at your stall & they will be accommodated for, in the staff discount tickets.

PLEASE NOTE

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance; all applications will be assessed on individual merit, number, and type of other stalls.

Tickets will only be issued once payment is received in full.

Food stalls will not be allowed to operate until their equipment set up has been assessed by our onsite electrician. To help us, please ensure all your equipment is tested and tagged



We will make sure we review every submission we get, but considering the huge number of vendors that apply we will not be able to get back to everyone and apologise if you do not hear from us.
